Meet Andrew Alise, Founder & Executive Chef
Some people learn to cook from culinary school.
For me, it started with a flip phone.
At nine years old, I struck a deal with my parents: cook dinner every night for two weeks — from prep to clean-up — and I could pay off my first phone. What started as a chore quickly became something I looked forward to. There was something peaceful, even fun, about being in the kitchen. And when I watched my family sit down, laugh, and enjoy what I made for them — something clicked.
Looking back, it’s clear: cooking has always been God’s gift to me.
I was raised in a home where food was more than fuel — it was how we loved one another. My mom, dad, and late Gram were amazing cooks, and our kitchen was the heart of the house. Friends would gather, stories were told, and my parents always made sure there was a seat at the table for everyone. That spirit of connection through food followed me everywhere — even onto the baseball field.
When I left home to play Division 1 baseball, I brought my love for cooking and hospitality with me. Living with five teammates, I naturally became the house chef. Before long, other players were knocking on our door asking if I could cook for them too. Eventually, I found myself preparing meals for most of the team — night after night. Those dinners turned into something bigger than just feeding hungry athletes. They became moments of togetherness — shared meals, deeper friendships, and memories we still talk about today.
After working in a local restaurant and spending years cooking for family, friends, teammates, and anyone who walked through my door, I realized something: this wasn’t just a skill — it was a calling.
God gave me a passion for food and the joy of serving people. And I knew I had to build something with it.
That’s how Clean Comfort Chefs was born.
Today, I create unforgettable in-home dining experiences rooted in genuine hospitality, thoughtful service, and — of course — incredible food. I specialize in beautifully prepared meals that feel like home — served with the kind of care and detail that turns dinner into something unforgettable. Inspired by the dishes I grew up with, especially the Italian meals shared in my family’s kitchen, every menu is crafted to create connection, comfort, and a night you’ll remember.
Whether it’s a celebration, an intimate gathering, or a night to reconnect with the people you love — I’m here to help you slow down, savor the moment, and feel what it’s like to be served.
